  • What should I expect during my physiotherapy treatment?

Your physiotherapist will complete a comprehensive assessment of your condition, design a personalised rehabilitation plan, and provide education and exercises to help you recover and prevent recurrence. Treatment may include manual therapy, exercise prescription, posture and movement training, and self-management strategies.

  • What should I wear and can I bring someone with me?

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows your physiotherapist to assess the affected area and movement easily. For example, shorts for leg conditions or a vest for shoulder or upper back issues.

Yes. You are welcome to bring a friend, family member, or carer for support during your appointment.

  • How long will my treatment last?

The length of treatment varies depending on your condition and goals. Your physiotherapist will agree on a plan with you during your assessment and regularly review your progress using outcome measures.

  • What happens if I'm sick and want to cancel?

Where possible, we would need 48 hours’ notice to change an appointment. That being said, illness and unforeseen occurrences do happen. In these cases, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible via phone or email to rearrange. In lieu of a face-to-face appointment, we can also offer a telephone appointment if needed.
